A New Place to Call Home

As you walk down the streets of Blantyre in the district where Agape House lies, you will see red x’s on all of the buildings. What do they mean? Malawi’s government has decided to demolish all of the marked buildings and remake them into two-story buildings in order to improve the aesthetic appearance of the city.

When we received this news it seemed devastating. Where would Agape House go? Where would the kids go?

This has turned into a blessing in disguise. Through this circumstance we now have the opportunity to attempt to purchase an actual school building that has a more central location. This school has nine class rooms, a borehole for clean drinking water, and a courtyard where our students will have plenty of space to play. Not only that, but it is located along the river.

The thing is, it will cost $125,000 to purchase this new school. Although there is great cost in this step, Agape House may have the capacity to reach far more vulnerable children than ever before.

We believe that God is working in this and for His kingdom to advance in the lives of these precious children.

Would you please be in prayer with us as we seek God’s provision?

If you are interested in partnering with us as we take this new step, please check out our Razoo funding page to make a donation.

Many thanks,

Agape Scholars International
