Khumbo Pahumba

For Holy Week, Agape House would like to introduce our student spotlight Khumbo Pahumba. He is fourteen years old. Sadly, Khumbo is an orphan as his father passed away at five years old and was abandoned by his mother shortly after. He has had to work on the streets for six years and was unable to continue schooling after fourth grade. Despite all of these things, Khumbo has a bright future and desires to continue on his education. He can even speak English well!

Let’s learn  more about Khumbo by seeing how he responded to the following questions:

Heavenly Father, thank you that on this week we were not only able to celebrate your death and resurrection, but Khumbo as well. Because of your life, his life is worth celebrating! We pray that you would provide every need that he has. We thank you that he has been able to attend Agape House to learn about you and have a brighter future and a hope to follow his dreams of being a pilot. We thank you for having his name written on your hands. He is not forgotten by you, so let us not forget him either. In your name Jesus, Amen.

Khumbo’s favorite verse:
