From Agape Scholars, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! What a better way to celebrate than to tell the story of a young boy, that our savior who came into our world, loves very much. This week it is our honor to tell you about Patrick Sulira. Patrick is a thirteen year old boy who lives with his grandparents and five siblings. We are so thankful that he was not found begging on the streets. However, he was only able to complete his education up until third grade. Here are some of his responses after our staff asked him questions:
What have you learned at Agape House this week?
Patrick has been completing his end of term exams this week.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
He is very interested in becoming a pilot.
What is your favorite game to play?
Soccer.
What five words would you use to best describe yourself?
Talkative. Friendly. Likes joking. Willing. Courageous.
Who is your best friend?
Wyford Banda.
What is the nicest thing you have ever done for someone?
He gave his friend some money.
What is something that you know about Jesus?
He is a healer.
If you could give a gift to every child in the world, what would it be?
He would like to give clothing.
Lord, thank you for Patrick. We are pleased that you have blessed him with the opportunity to further his education and are glad that he was not found vulnerable on the streets. You love him and delight in the life you have created him for. Fulfill your purposes in his life and shower him with your favorable blessings. Amen
